The Waikato branch of the NZMVC are hosting this Low Cost, Family friendly National Campout at the Kiokio United Sports Club, 135 Paewhenua Road, Maihiihi. This is 18km East of Otorohanga.

Available for Camping from Lunchtime Thursday, the No.2 field is all ours. Thursday night the large club rooms are open for a drink and dinner in conjunction with the clubs practice night. We will then have the clubrooms & kitchen available to us for the rest of the weekend on a BYO basis.

• Plenty of flat camping on the No.2 field. Non powered, water available.
• Hard stand parking for transporters.
• Children’s Playground. Bring the kids bikes. Tennis & Netball too.
• Covered Outdoor BBQ area. The Waikato branch will cook meat for you on Friday night. BYO plates and greens if required.
• Local collections, Museums and the Kiwi House to check out.
• Saturday catered dinner.
• Farm Runs
• Gymkhana

There are 3 Motels are available in Otorohanga. For those who wish to join in but not camp, we suggest that you book very soon. There are a few B & Bs locally. The Camping ground also has a few cabins available.
