Sure you could drive your Jeep around the far end of Middle Earth on your own but that is nowhere near as much fun as doing the journey with a community of like-minded people.

Sun, sand and sea is the theme.

With beaches galore, there are plenty of opportunities to cool off on a hot day with a swim, body surf in the crystal clear water or lounge around in the sun with a cold one.

There will be many opportunities to cruise along the super highways of the North – the beaches!

Note that beach driving is not compulsory. There will always be an alternative option to travel by road instead of by beach.

Some of the MZ’s will be returning to where they fought in WWII

The North has a significant military history with airfields, radar stations and coastal defences. We will also traverse the area that US Marines lived and trained in.

The Far North is also the cradle of the nation centred on the Bay of Islands. Whalers and missionaries preceded the signing of the Treaty where Maori and Pakeha came together.

TEAM

The team have years of convoy experience and bring a ton of expertise to ensure smooth progress. They are veterans of many MVPA convoys in the USA. They applied that template to the original kiwi convoy in 2018 – Armistice 100. That was a tremendous journey which took the intrepid adventurers all the way to Warbirds over Wanaka.
