Convoy 2026 – Wild West Convoy

Friday February 20th – Saturday March 7th 2026

It’s time yet again for another convoy where the next level of intensity and
unbeatable experiences happen with NZMVC members and visiting
American friends

A chance to bring people together and travel hundreds of kilometres as a
group and overcome every obstacle thrown at you along the way

Where the scenery is amazing from the black sands of the North Island’s
Wild West Coast to the magic of the mountain and New Zealand’s
breathtaking native bush lands, travelling on roads unseen by normal eyes
at 70kph
Together as a team, staying in the many interesting towns with plenty of
side trips and adventures and appreciate what we call “The Land of the Long
White Cloud”—Aotearoa, New Zealand

This journey will take us from the start point of New Plymouth
heading North through the back blocks of Taumarunui, Ohura,
Mokau. Taking in the beauty of the Waitomo Caves, Kawhia, Raglan
and more. Returning South through PioPio, Whanganui, Hawera and
more where we will finally return to New Plymouth, including a drive-
up and around Mt Taranaki.
At several places we will stay for 2 or 3 nights at a time so you won’t
have to pack up each day, we will then travel from those on day trips.
Special events will be scheduled into the programme. There will be
shared meals, auctions and a guarantee of lots of fun.
